in a slideshow format.
You can also download our complimentary ABC Fingerspelling Chart that you can print out and study wherever you go.
- Each letter handsign is stationary (does not move) with the exception of the letters J and Z.
- For the letters J and Z, an arrow is pictured to demonstrate the proper hand movement.
- Each picture is shown from the reader’s perspective. In other words, all signs face outward from your chest, as shown in the pictures.
- The best tool for practicing your fingerspelling is to use a mirror. As you learn each letter, sign in front of a mirror and make sure your handshape is the same as shown in the pictures.
- Learn and practice together with a friend! Fingerspell with your friends and improve your ability to sign and read fingerspell.
